Week 11 – Chiefs Game Preview

Hi again Los Angeles Rams fans and welcome to this week’s (Should be a classic against the Chiefs) game preview.

This week’s matchup see’s us at home (Not Mexico) against the Kansas City Chiefs who currently sit top of their division with a 9-1 record. The Chiefs have had a very impressive season so far and have beaten some strong teams along the way like the Chargers and Steelers, and their only loss came in week 8 to the Patriots who just squeaked past them by 3 points in a shootout that really came down to who had the ball last.

Patrick Mahomes in only his second season and the first season starting at QB has had a tremendous start to his NFL career throwing 10 touchdowns in his first 3 games (the only QB to ever do this) …But as always enough with the past, let’s focus on this week’s game Rams fans Players to watch out for this week. All of them on offence really!!!!!! LOL

Patrick Mahomes QB
Mahomes has just looked awesome so far this season and already seems to have a good grasp of Andy Reid’s offensive system. Reid is held in high regard in offensive circles and Mahomes may just have landed on his feet here. Mahomes also brings mobility to the table here and can buy time for receivers to run second routes if the pocket breaks down, he also has a cannon for an arm and for Kansas City fans this could be the dawning of a real star.

Kareem Hunt HB
This second year running back will be looking to move the ball on the ground for the Chiefs. Hunt has good speed and agility and defenders have to wrap up when tackling this guy or he will break tackles. The Chiefs drafted Hunt in the third round of the 2017 draft and I’m sure he looks to feature as the starting HB for many year to come.

Tyreek Hill WR
Hill is a burner and I’m talking about terrific speed! He’s not only a great WR but also a bit of a gadget guy, don’t be surprised to see him lining up in the back field as well as out wide and in the slot, kinda like the way we used to use Tavon Austin. Hill has that kind of agility.

Travis Kelce TE
Is Kelce the best tight end in the game right now? Yeah you could make a case. The 5 year veteran is simply having another great season with that good speed of his and great catching hands; he’s currently second in reception on the Chiefs.

Justin Houston LOLB
Houston is just a terrific linebacker, any questions? He’s a powerful tackler with a great understanding of the game. He has great strength and has no problem getting round the edge and after the QB from that outside spot.

My final word on this game

This game has all the makings of an absolute classic. And who knows, are we looking at a preview of the Super Bowl? Two of the strongest teams in the league right now should make for a mouthwatering shootout with all those offensive weapons, but at the end of the day, this one could come down to which defence steps up and makes the most stops on those high powered offences. This is a game I’ve been really looking forward to and I think this is a great opportunity for our defence to slow down a Chiefs offence that has been flying and allow Goff and co to do their thing!!! We also now have home field advantage.

SOOOOOOO My score prediction is Rams to win a close one 38-35 …..
And that is my two cents Ramily…

Go Rams! Rob
